My life has seemed to of “started over” in more ways than one. My daughter took me shopping the other day to spruce up my wardrobe. As I stood in front of the mirror trying clothes on I wondered where that woman came from. She looked so sure of herself… so put together. Then I looked past the surface and saw something that I never saw before in myself. I saw all the ‘scars’ on the ‘inside’ from the abuse that I have survived throughout the years. We did our “pretty shopping” before I wrote the last Friday Session. What I saw on the inside wasn’t pretty at all, yet my Soul is. So I stood there asking myself “how many are out there that look at those scars each and every day as a reminder of the hell they have gone through?” I don’t know, but this week I am talking directly to you. To each Soul that has been abused in anyway… each precious Soul that is carrying around all of those scars. Will you allow me to heal with you? Can we walk this road together? Can we forgive ourselves for what has happened? I see scars that I haven’t forgiven yet. Come sit with me and let us work on some together. Unforgiveness is like a fence that needs to be broken down. The same is true of resentment, impatience, bitterness and more. If a person looks deep enough within themselves they will find fences or walls that prevent them from living the fullest life possible for their highest good. We each are born as ‘worthy’ individuals. It is only through outside ‘interference’ that we start to look at ourselves as less than worthy. There are several different types of wounds that can leave a scar. Surface wounds are wounds that have only grazed our life. They are not major events. Lingering wounds are a deeper wound than surface yet not received from a major crisis. With a little time and dedication they can be healed rather easily. Deep wounds have penetrated our heart and soul. These are the hardest wounds to heal. Think of five things that have happened to you. Decide which is the deepest wound and which is the most surface wound. Remember a surface wound is considerably easier to heal than a deep wound. Both are able to be healed. Choose which one out of the five you wish to work on. The Warrior within… If you look at me all you see is the flesh I am covered with. There is nothing there for you to see, for all my scars are hid. Dig deep enough and you will see the results of all those years the abuse, the doubts, the ugliness… the loneliness and fears. Today I stand before you and courageously take a stand to live from my heart this moment and offer you my hand. Yes it’s an uphill battle…. one that we can win. If you believe as strong as me that we deserve this win. So come sit by my side and take my hand in yours For I believe that we are worth this, of this I’m very sure! Created by Dawn Ellen Kiss Copyright July 5, 2010 Doubt is one of our biggest enemies. Please do not doubt who you are or how worthy you are of Life. You were born to live and live fully. Let us start this moment. Trust who you are. Trust that you are more than enough. Beyond the trust… know in your heart that you are a child of God, gifted to this world with your own special purpose that no one else can fulfill but you. If the Heavens believe in you so deeply, please believe in yourself… for I can see your Light and I believe in you. Enjoy all aspects of this week… the good… the bad… even the indifferent. There is a lesson in all of these. The only thing we are guaranteed in life is change. Embrace the change that comes to you and grow with it… heal with it. I am by your side. Many Hugs Dawn
