Dawn Kiss ~ September 11 Two Vultures circling. Flying the dance of destiny with death. No other birds in the sky. No other voices. No other flight. Silence, stillness, and grace. "Take a lesson people lest you forget just how precious life can be. You need not have an enemy to destroy your world. Your own slumber can bring that on. Embrace your own breath. Celebrate each step you take. Honor life itself. Then come tomorrow ... do not forget. Every day should be a day of remembrance. We see how deep this day has hurt so many of you. Embrace the hurt and honor life. Let go of the pain. Offer life by your actions, not death by your sorrow. Be Life. Be Love!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ September 19 Found a Hawk feather Sunday. As much as I'm used to listening to Crow, Vulture, and other birds.... Hawk is a rarity. Hawk pushes for people to scrutinize their lives. To look deep at where they've been, where they are, and what seems to be coming.... either 'at' them or 'to' them. I have listened to Hawk and am grateful for what has been pointed out to me. Time to share..... "Can you feel it? Almost here. No later than November. Major life change. Has your world been different lately? Just enough to shake it up so you can't just keep going with the flow? Take the time now to see if anything you're experiencing now has already been a part of your life.... even if it didn't look exactly the same. Think... you don't look exactly the same as you once did. Are you ready to embrace your future? Hope so. You're creating it." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ September 21 Looking out the window I see November. Different sun light. Colder temperatures. Lined jacket weather. That in between time ... the adjustment period between the fall harvest and the winter rest. Decide now where you want to be then. What path do you want to walk? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ September 26 I had a spider visit my kitchen window for the last 2 1/2 weeks. She left yesterday morning. As silly as it may sound ... the 'gift' she left behind..... Grandmother Spider.... "You've already woven your web of life. Now you must live what you have created. IF you are not content with what your web looks like, feels like or wields.... reconstruct the section that does not thrill you. You watched me reweave daily what was my home. When it was time for me to go I left you the 'gift of growth'. I've shown you how to weave. Please do so. Build the life you really want. Simply remember me... that is all I ask." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ September 27 Once again I feel November. And what I hear... "It's closer than you think. I hope you're ready. These are changes you may not want. When all is said and done and the dust has settled you may realize that this is something you never would have chosen for yourself but it is such an incredible backhanded gift you'll accept it readily. IF you decide to fight the change, you will realize after a while that the only thing you're fighting is yourself. Totally see what's in front of you before you decide "you can't do this". And give yourself a fair chance to do something different, completely different, with all your heart into it. If you do, you will be amazed at what you were helping co-create." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ September 27 So.... headed to work and it was intentionally pointed out to me that the Vultures are circling and patiently waiting for that ending to come. They know it won't be tomorrow. They have the patience to sit and wait it out. Diligently watching... knowing it's not quite time yet, but it is coming! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The 'feel' that I have tonight as I write this is.... this winter will bring the light into peoples lives who are having a very hard time seeing just who they are. Winter has always had a way of dimming the Light in people. This year it will be cold. It will be barren. It will be a harsh winter. However, it will also hold the ability to feed one's soul. Embrace every single morsel of Light that is brought to you. They will illuminate your world from the inside out. Be Blessed my friends.... be truly blessed. Dawn

When confronted with my past I saw for the first time how I allowed someone else's fear to control my life. It was a very rude awakening. A much needed awakening. I was not always as strong as I am now. At one point in time I would have done just about anything to please those who were closest to me. I would have given until I was empty to simply not have to live in fear. How sad to think that I had no self worth. How much sadder to think that someone would have taken advantage of that fact. What part of my life did they control? My ability to make a sound decision... a sound judgment on what was best for me. Their own fear paralyzed me. I gave up openly praying. When one has no faith at all they fear because they have become empty. This person judged me... crucified me for believing so strongly in prayer. For believing in something that cannot be seen, except for the end results. The problem was... they were their fear. It had consumed them. Given enough time it would have consumed me too. I have learned so much since those days. The very most we can do for the ones we are close to is to simply be ourselves and share our souls openly with no expectations. There is no fear when we simply accept what life has to offer. If we give for the shear joy of giving... it is always returned to us. Fear... a prescription for death Sitting here trembling in someone elses fear, Why, tell me why I can't seem to think clear. What is this cloud that is held over me? What will it take to set myself free? What is missing inside of them? Why do they look at me and so easily condemn my every thought, my deepest feelings, my very soul? Because they can't afford to let me become whole. If I were to gain my senses back their fear could no longer attack the very thing that could destroy it most truth, trust, faith... there are a number of hosts. Fear itself is a prescription for death, for it would drain our very last breath. Yet I stand strong within my Soul for I have taken back my power...now I am made whole! created by Dawn Ellen copyright September 2010 Each week I ask you to join me in prayer. This week I wish to thank you ... each of you... for sharing in prayer with me. For sharing your lives with me. I am grateful for each of you. You have all made a difference in my life. You have brought life to my world. Because of you I am stronger than I know. Yes it is by God's own hands. Yet each of you are his messengers. May you be blessed with Love to fill your Spirit, Laughter to fill your Soul, Light to ease your way on this Journey and a thousand tiny Miracles to make your Heart sing. Many hugs... The morning after I killed myself, I woke up. I made myself breakfast in bed. I added salt and pepper to my eggs and used my toast for a cheese and bacon sandwich. I squeezed a grapefruit into a juice glass. I scraped the ashes from the frying pan and rinsed the butter off the counter. I washed the dishes and folded the towels. The morning after I killed myself, I fell in love. Not with the boy down the street or the middle school principal. Not with the everyday jogger or the grocer who always left the avocados out of the bag. I fell in love with my mother and the way she sat on the floor of my room holding each rock from my collection in her palms until they grew dark with sweat. I fell in love with my father down at the river as he placed my note into a bottle and sent it into the current. With my brother who once believed in unicorns but who now sat in his desk at school trying desperately to believe I still existed. The morning after I killed myself, I walked the dog. I watched the way her tail twitched when a bird flew by or how her pace quickened at the sight of a cat. I saw the empty space in her eyes when she reached a stick and turned around to greet me so we could play catch but saw nothing but sky in my place. I stood by as strangers stroked her muzzle and she wilted beneath their touch like she did once for mine. The morning after I killed myself, I went back to the neighbors’ yard where I left my footprints in concrete as a two year old and examined how they were already fading. I picked a few daylilies and pulled a few weeds and watched the elderly woman through her window as she read the paper with the news of my death. I saw her husband spit tobacco into the kitchen sink and bring her her daily medication. The morning after I killed myself, I watched the sun come up. Each orange tree opened like a hand and the kid down the street pointed out a single red cloud to his mother. The morning after I killed myself, I went back to that body in the morgue and tried to talk some sense into her. I told her about the avocados and the stepping stones, the river and her parents. I told her about the sunsets and the dog and the beach. The morning after I killed myself, I tried to unkill myself, but couldn’t finish what I started. Sit and allow the peace to settle in replacing all of the anxiety that the world has stirred up lately. Come sit whenever you want. A chair is always waiting. The lake is calm.
